私は女学生で、大湊に勤労奉仕隊でも行ったことがあるから、その当時の事はよく覚えていますよ。

あの青森空襲の日は、空襲警報が鳴ってB-29が焼夷弾を落としてから、青森から平舘まで35キロ、家族皆で夜通し歩いて逃げましたよ。振り返れば青森の空が真っ赤に燃え上がっていてさ、夏でもガタガタ震えながら一晩中歩き続けましたよ。

家の家業が海藻を扱う商いだったので、家にも貨物を運ぶ船とか別な大きな船とか2隻持っていたんですけど、2隻とも沖で沈められてしまって、今でも陸奥湾の海中に沈んでいると思うけど、平舘から青森への帰りは何故か船だったんだよね。きっと取引先の船だったのかと思うけど、船も艦載機に随分狙われて危険だったんだってね。

沖舘に着いて古川の跨線橋に上って見た景色は今でもはっきりと覚えているよ。本当に忘れられるものじゃないよ。皆でそこに立ち止まって涙を流しながら焼け跡を見ましたよ。そこから見えるはずもない浪打小学校が焼けないで建っているのが見えたんだもの。あとは公会堂とか蓮華寺も残っていると皆が話していたけど、何もかも街中全部真っ黒に焼けてしまって、もちろん家も学校も焼けてしまっていましたよ。その中を動いている人達がいましたのでまだ救われましたが、本当にどうなるんだろうかと不安だらけでしたね。

それでも次の年に、学校は無いけど卒業式をして卒業証書をもらいましたよ。でも生年月日は合っているけど名前の漢字が間違っていてね。仕方ないよね、学校も書類も皆燃えてしまっているんだもの、直して下さいとは言えなかったですよ。（絵・聞き書き：張山喜隆/平成29年3月2日）

On that Aomori air raid day, after the air raid alarm rang and the B – 29 dropped incendiary bombs, 35 km from Aomori to Tairadate, everyone in the family ran away overnight and ran away. In retrospect, the sky in Aomori was burning up in red, I kept walking all night while trembling in summer.

Because My family business  was a dealing business of seaweed, I had two ships such as a ship carrying cargo to the house or another big ship, but both of them were submerged in the offshore, I think that it is sinking, but why was the return from Tairadate to Aomori was a ship? I think that it was surely the ship of the business partner, but the ship was also dangerous because it was targeted quite a lot by the aircraft carrier.

I still remember the scenery I saw when I arrived at Okidate and went up to the overpass of Furukawa. It is not really forgotten. Everyone stopped there and saw the burns while shedding tears. I could see that a haunted elementary school that can not be seen from there can be built without burning. Everyone was told that there were also public halls and lotus temple left, but everything was burning down all over the street, of course, both the house and the school had gone burned. There were still people in it, so I was saved, but I was worried about what really happened.

Nevertheless, I do not have a school next year, but I got a diploma after graduation ceremony. But my birthday is right but the kanji of the name is wrong.
